16 Mei 2016 | Nieuw Zeeland, Waikaremoana
With a new face in the Drugs team and some new samples to analyse.
And to have an exciting weekend to look out for.
On Monday I got some new samples and run them with the spot tests.
On Tuesday I discussed the results with Hannah and we came to the conclusion to try a different solvent.
On Wednesday till Friday I run spot tests with this new solvent.
The results where better.
The weekend ahead was a "Dutchie" weekend, with Dave, Rob and Isa.
Dave and I flew to Palmerston North to get picked up by Rob. Afterwards we picked up Isa and drove to Napier.
We enjoyed the views of Cape Kidnappers, Napier and Bluff Hill.
Then the drama started to find the Red Shed we stayed in. This was the most amazing place I stayed so far. In the middle of nowhere on a farm between the hills. We enjoyed the sunrise in the moring and left for Te Urewera. Here we did a part of the great walk. This walk goes around lake Waikaremoana. The most beautiful place of all of North Island. Here we did find out we were not prepared for a night in a hut. Luckly the night wasn't to long and we could enjoy the sunrise over the mountains and the lake. We went back down and had a swim in lake Waikaremoana.
After we were fresh, we continued the journey to Rotorua. Here we went to see the Rainbow Mountain and the Sacred waters. We said goodbye to Rob and Isa and continued to walk to point Sulpher.
At the end of the day, we took the Intercity back to Auckland.
